Boy Katindig takes on this challenging feat to discover and hone new talents and trigger the renaissance of original Jazz music in Manila.
Although well-versed in most genres, Mr. Katindig chose to specialize in jazz music because of its “universality.” It is the genre that promotes cultural exchange as we see it as a “universal genre” and, it is in playing and writing jazz music that Boy Katindig placed the Philippines on the map in a highly competitive international music scene.
